Biking the Millennium Trail – Prince Edward County

Finding new adventures in our local area is such a great thing, especially these days. It means there’s no need travel long distances and we get to support our local businesses. We’ve known about the Millennium trail for a long time, but never really looked into exploring it until now. It’s an old rail bed which has been converted to a multi-use trail and covers 46 km from Consecon to Picton in Prince Edward County.

Colin’s Lake Mountain Biking Loop

Back before everything shut down, we had purchased new mountain bikes for both myself and my son. If you haven’t seen pictures or heard of this event, click on the hastag which will link you to their Facebook page.  The basic information is the gathering of 150 canoes on Canoe Lake in Algonquin Park to help celebrate Canada’s 150 years.  A group of fellow bloggers, vloggers, and online personalities were all involved in getting this organized.  I was jumping in on this with two feet, thus getting our site booked for the weekend in Algonquin.
