New Trail? You bet! This time we were heading to Kawartha Highlands Provincial Park to check out the new Mississagua River Trail. I have been hearing about this trail through a few sources, and with the weather looking optimal, the plan to go was in effect. As with all new trail locations (or even new tripping locations) I start with a map. I want to check out the location, how long it is to drive, and where exactly we would go.
We live in an area that is full of places to explore, even during the winter. Today the sun was shining and when some plans fell through, other plans are created. This meant we headed out to Presquille Provincial Park for a little hike. Today’s agenda was the Owen Point Trail.

As a family, we have been travelling to Myrtle Beach four out of the last five years. I don’t know why it took me so long to actual see if there were places to either canoe or kayak. Who knew?
