This is the final instalment of our crazy awesome West Coast Adventure. This last stop was unplanned, but a great idea. Hayden had been bothering us the whole trip to find a hotel with a pool and water slide, or a water park in general. So we surprised him by booking a night near the West Edmonton Mall and spending the day in the water park instead of going back to Calgary right away.

Our next few days of adventures were big. We saw high peaks and long valleys, crazy chairlifts and even longer zip lines. Yes, we had been looking forward to visiting Whistler and wanted to take in as much as we could in the short time we were there.

The next thing on our Vancouver Island bucket list was to head as far west as possible – known as Mile 0 – and dip our feet in the ocean. Dan and I thought we had done this the last time we were on the island many years ago, but found out we went to the wrong spot and didn’t make it… We were not making that mistake again!
